Insolvency law is currently facing challenges on all levels: from sole traders and small businesses, all the way up to banks and sovereign states.

While usually the exclusive territory of individual European Member States, insolvency law has become the focus of attention for the European institutions, which are aiming to create a Capital Markets Union and improve the effectiveness of the Banking Union. When compared with the United States, where the first federal law was enacted in 1800, Europe is trailing behind. Can the Member States overcome their differences? Will a Brexit change everything?

This unique, one-day conference will attempt to provide answers to the questions arising in this context.

You will find here a list of all the speakers at the conference.

The conference will start at 9:00 AM. There will be increased security measures at the gates. Please plan accordingly and do not forget to bring an ID.
