Mathieu Kohmann has been a member of Droit & Croissance since 2014. He is a corporate partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in New York City, where he has a broad transactional and capital markets practice and counsels companies and sponsors on technical capital-raising through public and private equity and debt offerings and acquiring and disposing of businesses and assets. Mathieu earned his U.S. law degree from Harvard Law School. He also graduated summa cum laude from the French-German-European Campus of Sciences Po Paris and cum laude from Sciences Po Law School. Mathieu also studied economics, finance and public policy at Princeton University as well as IP law, IP strategy, law & technology and bankruptcy at Stanford Law School. Mathieu is interested in the regulation of capital markets and new technologies, smart regulation and interdisciplinary approaches to the law and legal research, as well as corporate governance.
