Head of research group: Sophie Vermeille<\/h3>\n

The Law and Institutions research group<\/strong> is distinctive in the operation of Droit & Croissance \/ Rules for Growth Institute, in that beyond an illumination of public policy issues through research in “Law & Economics”, it also aims to question the way in which the institutional framework, ie the set of normative constraints that weigh on society and the economy, can evolve to better design and apply the norm.<\/p>\n

Our work covers the questions of how best to design and evaluate the norm, for example through impact studies or legislative experimentation, as well as the most effective means of applying it via, for example, Nudges. Other projects are addressed by our working groups, such as the issues of digital justice or the academic environment.<\/p>\n

We relay our work on several supports, whether academic (e.g. Oxford Law Review) and general public (e.g. Fondapol or the press) or through our participation in various conferences such as the 8th Meeting of Public Transformation.<\/p>\n

Contributors to our group come from universities and Grandes Ecoles<\/em>, with both economic and legal profiles, who are knowledgeable about and experienced in the public and private sectors and therefore sensitive to these different professional cultures.<\/p>\n
