Benjamin Fremaux specializes in mergers and acquisitions advisory in the industrial, energy and infrastructure sectors and is Managing Director at Messier Maris & Associés. After graduating from Polytechnique and Ecole des Mines, Benjamin was head of the industrial development and energy division of Drire Languedoc-Roussillon and task manager for the prefect of Languedoc-Roussillon (2006-2008). He joined the cabinet of Christine Lagarde, Minister of the Economy, Finance and Industry, as Technical Adviser, in charge of Tax Policy (2009-2011) then, at age 31, he became the Director of Strategy and Mergers and Acquisitions, and secretary of the Executive Board of AREVA (2011-2013). From 2013 to 2014, he was Managing Director for Enrichment Technology before joining Messier Maris & Associés in 2015. Benjamin writes regularly for the Montaigne Institute.
